2. Who Needs an ETA?
An ETA is required for citizens of specific visa-exempt countries. If you're traveling from one of these countries and do not hold a visa or UK residence permit, you must apply for an ETA.

3. Stay Restrictions with an ETA
With a valid ETA, you may:
- Visit the UK for up to 6 months
- Travel for tourism, business meetings, short-term study, or to visit friends or family
However, you cannot:
- Work (paid or unpaid) for a UK company

- Access public funds or free NHS medical care
